Alternative Dispute Resolutions (ADR)

Litigation and legal fees could be very expensive and time consuming.

Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) enables all parties involved to take advantage of a speedy, cost effective and confidential service, which gives greater control to the parties than they would have in the conventional court processes.

Facilitated ADR is particularly helpful in multi-party claims, when settlement negotiations have encountered difficulties; in cases where one or more parties would benefit from the involvement of a neutral and independent third party; or when there is an ’inequality of arms’.

Under Alternative Dispute Resolution, you have the choice of Mediation or Arbitration. These are the two major areas of ADR we practice and very experience.

Mediation

Mediation is a flexible process that can be used to settle disputes in a whole range of situations. Mediation involves an independent third party, the mediator, who helps people to agree a solution when there is a disagreement. The mediator helps parties work out what their issues and options are, then use those options to work out an agreement.
